Method

Five stages, from problem to delivery. Hiring a brand project shouldn't be a leap in the dark: each stage ends in a decision you approve before the next.

  1. Immersion

Understanding the business before any visual decision: the brief, the market, the customers and the real problem. The stage ends with a diagnosis of the gap between what the company delivers and what the market perceives.

    • Information gathering
    • Brief study
    • In-depth research
    • Understanding the problem

    You receive: discovery and diagnosis.

  2. Strategy

Defining what the brand needs to communicate, to whom and against whom. This is where it gets decided why to choose this company and not the closest one. Design starts only afterwards.

    • Brand attributes
    • Golden Circle
    • Personality and DNA
    • Mission, vision and values
    • Competitor analysis
    • Audience and touchpoints
    • Mind map

You receive: strategy and verbal identity.

  3. Ideation

Turning strategy into visual direction. The aesthetic atmosphere and references are validated with you before any final piece is drawn.

    • Reference gathering
    • Moodboard
    • Idea validation
    • Defining the visual style

You receive: the approved visual direction.

  4. Implementation

Drawing, testing and refining the system where the customer meets the brand: logo, colors, typography, elements and applications, checking that each piece works in real use.

    • Sketches and idea generation
    • Functionality and applicability tests
    • Refining the final proposal
    • Developing elements and applications

You receive: visual system and applications.

  5. Delivery

Presenting the logic behind the decisions and handing over what the team needs to run the brand on its own, so it is applied the same way by whoever comes next.

    • Project presentation
    • Feedback collection
    • File closing and handover
    • Final alignment

You receive: documentation, files and manual.

No stage moves forward without your approval. You can ask for time and adjustments within the scope, but you don't skip stages or reverse the order: the logo doesn't come before the approved strategy. That keeps the outcome under control on both sides.

Who it is for, and who it isn't.

It is for companies that are growing, professionalizing or repositioning, whose delivery matured before their communication. I work mainly with aesthetics, health and B2B services, in Belém and across Brazil.

It isn't for cases where the brand already promises more than the operation delivers. Then the problem isn't communication, and a brand project won't solve it. I'd rather say so than sell the project.

What you won't hear from me: that a new identity, by itself, increases sales. It makes the positioning visible. The outcome also depends on the operation, the customer experience and time.

FAQ

Before you start.

What is the difference between visual identity and branding?

Visual identity is the tangible part of the brand: logo, colors, typography. Branding is the strategy behind it, the management of the perception the public has of the business. I work on both, so the visuals reflect a solid strategy. Read the article.

Do you only create the logo?

No. The focus is the full identity, which goes beyond the logo and includes palette, typography, supporting elements and applications, always on a strategic base. A logo without that base is a decision about form with no function.

What do I need to provide to start?

A detailed brief with information about the business, the audience, the competitors and the goals. The more specific it is, the more aligned the result. Immersion starts from it.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope. Each proposal comes with a schedule per stage, agreed at the start. If information is delayed, the dates move accordingly.

How many revisions can I ask for?

Each stage has revision rounds set out in the proposal. A significant change after an approved stage goes through a new scope and timeline assessment, instead of becoming unlimited informal rework.

What if I don't like the first proposals?

The process is collaborative and starts from the brief and the strategy you approved. If a direction doesn't work, we use the revision rounds to refine the concept until it represents the brand well.

Will I get a contract?

Yes, on every project. The document details scope, deliverables, deadlines, fees and conditions, and gives both sides security.

How does payment work?

The conditions go into the proposal and the contract, before the project begins. The investment is discussed after I understand the problem, not before.

What if I drop out midway?

If you withdraw, the work already done up to that point is charged, which covers the hours and resources already invested. The terms are written into the contract.

Do I keep the rights to the brand?

Yes. Once the project is finished and the final payment made, the rights to the identity created are assigned to you, with freedom to use the brand.

What file formats do I receive?

A complete package for digital and print use: vector formats (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF), which scale without loss of quality, and high-resolution images (PNG, JPG).
